Come visit us at the sanctuary and see what we are all about. This is a 100% volunteer driven organization, which means, nobody gets paid for the work they do. We love the animals and what we are doing for them. There are many different volunteer opportunities such as tour guide, admissions, lawn care, fundraising, etc. A little something for everyone.

Lawn Care:   Friday  9 A.M.     This would be weedeating, mowing, and some general lawn care. If you have your own weedeater or a mower, then that will help us get done faster. We have one riding mower, one handmower .  We don't allow anyone to mow in the inside perimeter or cat pens. That is done by Yogie staff.

Two windows need to be installed in the education building and we also have some finish work needing to be done around the exterior doors. Carpentry skills are needed here.

Every Saturday:  10 A.M. - 5 P.M.  is when Yogie and Friends is open to the public. We can use help with someone working inside taking admissions on any Saturday. We will allow for ages 15 and up on this, but it will be closely considered on the maturity level of the teens. We can break this into shift work. It is in an air conditioned building.

Also, we can use volunteers to walk the property during our open times as well to ensure nobody is harrassing the animals or throwing things over the fences or smoking, etc. They can answer questions and I will train everyone on the cat species and info. In other words a mini tour guide. We'll go 15 and up on this as well.

Petco. We are trying to get our table back at Petco every Saturday. It will involve having information and some things like t-shirts and coffee mugs, etc. for sale.
Usually 11 A.M. - 2 P.M.

But, please know this. There is absolutely no contact with the animals. So, if you think this is the place for you, then let us know.
